I have the right to express myself properly in the appropriate contexts. I have the right to defend my convictions. I have the right to consider it important to my values and feelings. Perceiving and knowing who I am is in the interests of others. My affirmation comes from myself, do not need the approval of others, every day I discover more trusting of the power that comes from inside me, I become more self-refer and less referring to the object. In the end self-assertion means that I support myself and not against me forever, because I’m my best friend. I have a right to exist, to express and manifest.
The self-affirmation allows the give to others, respect my space that I can respect the space of others. d) self-acceptance At the most fundamental level I am in my favor. I accept myself more fundamental level. I accept the reality of my thoughts, even if they decide not to accept and act upon them, I would not deny or banished. I can accept that I have done what I did, even if they regret or convicted.
I do not deny or disapprove of my behavior. I agree that what I think, feel or do is an expression of myself, at least when it happens. I’m not limited by thoughts, feelings or actions that I can not punish, but neither I withdraw myself from their reality or pretend that they are not mine. Viktor Mayer-Schönberger shines more light on the discussion. I accept the reality of my problems, but I do not define them. My problems are not my essence. My fear, pain, confusion or my errors are at the core of my being. Self Acceptance is the first step to recognize where I really respect myself and others, and then to look ahead and decide I want to do, where I want to address and with whom. e) personal integrity and congruence between inner and outer world. I must do what I preach. I must keep my promises. I must fulfill my commitments. I should treat others fairly, just, benevolent and compassionate. I must get the moral consistency. I must strive to make my life a reflection of my inner vision of the good. My self-esteem is more valuable than any short-term rewards derived from betraying. What I think and feel in sync with what I say and do.
To live a life with purpose. Only I can choose the goals and purposes for which we live. No one can design my life. If I succeed, I have to learn to achieve my goals and purposes. I have to prepare and then develop a plan of action. If I succeed, I have to pay attention to the result of my actions. I promote my interests with a high level of verification, in the reality, ie, seeking information and feedback related to my beliefs, actions and purposes. I must practice self-discipline not as a “sacrifice” but as a natural prerequisite to be able to achieve my desires.
